On Thursday 15th March, two members of Team Southfield were recognised at the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Schools Awards 2018.
Students from Southfield will be treated to an award event at Premier League club Stoke City after winning a national competition with the Show Racism the Red Card charity.

Rock Challenge is an event that has become a staple of our school calendar. Since we first entered around 18 years ago, there have only been a couple of years when we've not taken part. On Friday 9th March we set off to Magna in Sheffield to show the best of Southfield and compete against mainstream schools at the regional round of this national dance performance competition.
Two colleagues from Southfield School have been nominated in different categories of the 2018 Telegraph & Argus Schools Awards.
The week beginning 22nd February was Smile Week in Southfield which culminated on Friday in Identity Day, an idea that was inspired by our ongoing involvement in the One Britain One Nation project.
Students from across the campus shared the stage with a superstar of Islamic poetry at the 9th Annual Naat & Qiraat.
Southfield represented at a city-wide showcase of performing arts talent of SEND students.
The Student Council plays an imprtant role in our students' experiences at Southfield. They are the voice of the school and an invaluable link between the students and staff. In addition to this, taking part in the Student Council helps build their confidence leadership skills.
This year's anti-bullying week promoted the message 'All Equal, All Different'. This event is an annual fixture on the Southfield Calendar and always prompts our staff to think of imaginative ways to teach the pupils about an important topic which encourages students to work as a team and celebrate their many differences.
