Ofsted Monitoring Visit is a Success
Following the Ofsted visit on 4th July, we are pleased to announce the release of the monitoring report which shows the school continues to be heading in the right direction.
For the third time running, Ofsted have judged the school to be taking effective steps towards the removal of special measures. There are still challenges ahead but the report is very positive and demonstrates how the school's plans for improvement are continuing to have a positive impact.
Miss Mander, Headteacher said: "It is very pleasing to see our efforts being recognised in this way. The work we are all putting in continues to result in progress towards our goal of making Grange great again. The systems and structures we have put in place this year are gaining traction and begining to turn into measurable progress."
"Most pleasing is the improvement in the quality of teaching which has is the result of implementing clear structures and processes, delivered through quality training. The staff are working extremely hard to make a difference and their 'buy in' to new methods has been excellent. We look forward to returning in September refreshed and prepared for the next stage in this process. There are challenges ahead but we approach them with commitment and determination"
