Euro 4 Science Fair
Grange students held their own against competition from across West Yorkshire and Europe at a Science Fair.
On Wednesday 13th April, ten Year 10 Triple Science students attended the Euro4Science Fair at Skipton Girls High School. The students worked in groups to design solutions to current problems. Working in two teams, they competed against students from other schools from the region as well as foreign exchange students from schools in Portugal and Bulgaria.
One group had to design a new and innovative games console. Our team decided to use humans as part of the games console because humans are able to conduct electricity. The second group had to design and make the most efficient wind turbine with a set of resources that was provided.
We are delighted to announce that our students came first in both competitions! The students are a credit to themselves and the school - well done Team Grange!
