From October Half Term to Christmas the main focus for Product Design students will be the completion of their practical product.

A total of 32 marks can be awarded for this section of the controlled assessment which is one third of a students coursework grade.

To achieve high marks a product must be finished to a very high level.

To complete this there maybe occasions when a student will need to attend an after school session.    You will have prior knowledge of this and will receive a message from the Design Technology team in advance.

A total of 32 marks can be awarded for this section of the controlled assessment which is one third of a students coursework grade.

To achieve high marks the development section must be extremely detailed and thorough.  Students must take into account a wide varirty of different ways their final product could be developed or altered.

To complete this there maybe occasions when a student will need to attend an after school session.    You will have prior knowledge of this and will receive a message from the Design Technology team in advance.
