District Achievement Partnership (DAP)
We are proud to be a member of the District Achievement Partnership (DAP). This is a group of special schools in Bradford who work together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our young people with learning difficulties. Our involvement in the DAP brings many benefits, not least the provision of independent quality assurance of our progress as a school through regular reviews of our provision.
During our Ofsted inspection in March 2015, inspectors commended the effectiveness of our involvement with the DAP and how it benefits the school: "Soufhfield works with other special schols in the District Achievement Partnership (DAP) to very effectively develop new teachers in the skills and knowledge needed to meet students' complex learning needs."
The key strands of work undertaken by the DAP are:
- School Improvement
- Workforce development
- Moderation of assessment
The membership of the DAP comprises eight schools: Beechcliffe School, Chellow Heights School, Delius School, Hazelbeck School, High Park School, Oastler's School, Southfield School and The Phoenix School. More information including the DAP's vision statement can be found on the DAP website.
