Year 10 and 11: Learning for Life

At Southfield, this section od the curriculum focusses on preparing students for the next phase of learning encouraging the development of life skills and the ability to make positive choices / decisions about themselves and their future lives. Functional Literacy and Numeracy skills are embedded throughout the curriculum and recognised through accredited courses.
The core themes of Health & Wellbeing, Relationships and Living in the Wider World are delivered through a two year life skills programme to promote student’s Confidence, Resilience and Independence.
